I represent Visit Portugal in the Netherlands. Visit Portugal is the National Tourism Authority, a public institute under the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Cohesion. The organization is responsible for the promotion, enhancement, and sustainability of tourism activity in Portugal, bringing together all institutional competencies related to the development of tourism, from supply to demand. Visit Portugal operates internationally, promoting Portugal as a destination and supporting business opportunities for companies. Our 18 teams are active in 25 key outbound tourism markets, where they are responsible for institutional promotional activities and for supporting the internationalization of Portuguese companies. My role is to promote Portugal as a destination in the Dutch market and to facilitate business between Dutch and Portuguese companies within the tourism sector.
